Canadian Rockies Public Schools welcomes students from around the world to study in one of the most beautiful places in the world - the Canadian Rockies! Our Banff Community High School and Banff Elementary School are located in Banff National Park which is Canada's oldest national park established in 1885 and famous for its surreally coloured lakes, majestic mountains, and endless outdoor adventures. This park spans 6,641 square km of mountainous terrain, packed with spectacularly scenic valleys, peaks, glaciers, forest, meadows, and rivers. The Town of Banff has a population of 7,900.
Located in the Town of Canmore is Canmore Collegiate High School and Lawrence Grassi Middle School. Canmore (population approx 14,800) is one of the most amazing and spectacular places in all of Canada to live. Opening out across the floor of the Bow River Valley and flanked on all sides by the front ranges of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Canmore offers the best of all possible worlds. Canmore is 1.5 hours away from the Calgary International Airport (YYC) and 30 minutes to Banff.
What sets our international student program apart from others? We offer excellent schools and academic programs, small, safe communities loaded with opportunities for exploration and outdoor adventure, and a geographically spectacular location. Our program organizes monthly student activities to give everyone a chance to see and experience as much as possible during their stay with us here at CRPS.
