Canadian Rockies Public Schools is looking ahead, refining its 2025-2029 Four-Year Education Plan to ensure students are ready to learn, inspired to succeed, and prepared for the future. At the Board’s Feb. 26, 2025, meeting, Trustees reviewed the latest draft, emphasizing safe, inclusive schools, real-world learning, and academic excellence. Early gains from the new District Principal role were also highlighted, with Dr. Hans Holthuis driving innovation in career pathways, dual credit programs, and student engagement. Trustees confirmed key election appointments for the 2025 school board vote, ensuring a well-managed process. Upcoming Celebrations of Learning at CCHS and BCHS will showcase student achievements, while the Alberta Education Assurance Survey invites families to help shape the future of CRPS schools. The Board’s commitment to outdoor leadership was also evident, as Grade 10 students gained backcountry safety skills thanks to the generous donation of the Wim & Nancy Pauw Foundation.
