CRPS May 22, 2024, Board Meeting Highlights

The May 22 edition of “The Brief” is out! As presented in this month’s board highlights, Canadian Rockies Public Schools’ 2024/25 budget was approved, emphasizing educational excellence with a $37.5 million allocation. Key focuses include increased funding for instructional supports, smaller class sizes, and 12 new staff positions. CRPS continues to expand dual credit opportunities for students through partnerships with Olds College and SAIT, offering courses like Sports Management and Agricultural Technology. Lawrence Grassi Middle School received the green light to proceed with planning a Quebec trip for 2025, which aims to enhance French language skills. Additionally, two generous grants from Improvement District No. 9 will bolster Banff Elementary’s Nature Explorers program and the Canadian Rockies Outdoor Learning Centre. Read all about it!
