Banff Elementary's Spring Open House Unveils Learning Triumphs

Banff Elementary School (BES) is excited to open its doors for a Spring Open House on May 1, 2024, inviting students, parents, grandparents, and community members to get a peek into the vibrant learning environment BES students will enjoy next year! From 3:15 to 4:15 p.m., attendees will embark on an insightful journey through the school's corridors, with the 'top five' learning highlights of the year on proud display. Attendees will also find out about next year's Mountain Living/Outdoor Pursuits activities funded by the Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation.

The event is a celebration of knowledge and achievement, featuring a fair where the school's progress and innovations are showcased. Grade 8 students will add to the excitement by presenting their extracurricular athletic activities and complementary courses, offering a glimpse into the diverse opportunities BES provides for student growth beyond the classroom. 

Beyond academics, essential support staff, such as the Right From the Start Success Coach, School Family Wellness Worker, School Council Representative, Nature Explorers, Canadian Rockies International Homestay Program, will also be in attendance! They will provide valuable information on the array of services and support systems available to BES families, highlighting the school's commitment to holistic student welfare.

The Open House will conclude with the 'Take Five' initiative in the ‘Den”, an engaging component aimed at deepening connections within the community. By joining this event, you can help ensure that every family in the Banff community feels informed, involved, and inspired.
