Google Apps

An online password reset website is created and being tested, allowing you to update your network password without coming into school. You need to reset your Windows/network password before you can log onto your Gmail account.

Google Chrome Apps

Google Chrome browser has some tools (apps & extensions) that may be helpful to you and your students.  You must have Google Chrome installed. You can signin to Google Chrome with your @crps.ca account.

Read & Write for Google Docs - This is a version of R&W Gold that works when using Google Docs.

ISpeech Select and Speak - This text to speech (TTS) extention allows you to select text on a website and have it read aloud.

PD Session for EAs

Apps - These allow you to collaborate on documents, spreadsheets and presentations

Sites - These allow you to create a site to post information and have a discussion on a topic

Videos - These allow you to securely post a video.

Smartboard PD Ideas

Our division is implementing Smartboards in classes in all of our schools. This has been made possible through various grants and fundraising.

The Smart website has a number of free online tutorials covering Notebook software. We are using Notebook Software 108.

Lessons are available in the SmartTech website for teacher resources. Your own lessons created in Notebook can be shared amongst your colleagues by emailing or posting the lessons online.
